Update

I did not check the 3rd nest on a daily basis, but I did make note of some observations -

I noticed Dad was not around much at all. As a matter of fact I noticed him in the area on only three occasions. During two of those encounters I fed him and he did in fact go to the nest to feed the young. The rest of the time it was only Mom so cared for the young. I could not see into the nest, therefore I do not know how many eggs she laid. It was hard to tell how many chicks hatched, but I do believe it was two. Later on I noticed only one chick. This chick fledged on 15 August. The following day I did go out to feed Mom, who then took a beak full of mealworms to the tree across the street. That was the last time I saw her.

I also noticed most of the robins in the neighborhood left on 16 August. I would occasionally see one in the back yard. There was a nest in a tree of one of my neighbors. This is very late in the season to still have young in a nest. It appeared only the female was feeding the young, I did not notice a male in the area. There were three nestlings. The first fledged on 23 Aug, the remaining two fledged 25 Aug. The following pictures are from that nest.
