I invite you to join me while I monitor these nests - I warn you though - we may have to get up at 4:00 a.m., we may be in freezing cold winds, or spending long hours in a blind without moving.

If this doesn’t sound appealing to you, that’s ok (I understand); you can join me virtually from the comfort of your home and witness some incredible moments….

Nest Monitoring

…a young eagle taking its’ first flight.

….an eaglet prevent it’s sibling from getting to the meal by “mantling” (covering the prey item with their wings and tail).

…red headed woodpeckers defending their nest site.

…owlets climb out onto nearby branches (branching) as they test their skills in preparation of fledging.

…we may even see wood ducklings leave the nest at just 24 hours old.
