Third Nest
Two days after they fledged Mom started building a third nest (07-12-26). The location for this nest is in the front yard tree again (same tree the first nest was in). Dad was not participating in the feeding of the young very often the day of fledging and the first couple of days afterwards. He would always show up if protection was needed though. Mom was feeding the fledglings and working on the new nest - very busy.
In the video you can hear Dad singing behind me - making sure all know this is his territory.
Mom has been doing most of the feeding, but Dad is also feeding now as well.
