Day One

It’s a warm day - about 80F, strong winds - 16mph with 23mph gusts. There were 11 folks from the Anne Arundel Bird Club attending this trip. Some of us took the 11:15am ferry out of Lewes, Delaware arriving in Cape May around 1:00pm. We decided to begin at the Cape May Bird Observatory, Northwood Center. We heard the birding had not been very good over the last couple of days. Once we got there we learned this firsthand. We took a walk around Lake Lily.

The weather for tomorrow is mostly rain. We decided to it would be a good day to drive to Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge.
